Twitsnip - An all purpose bookmarklet

Posted by Sathis Raj S On 4:31 AM

From the brilliant minds of Twitter Grader, comes another all purpose trendy tool - Twitsnip. Consider a position where you want to quote an article from a website and tweet it but you find it boring and difficult to cut and paste, Twitsnip does it for you. The most important feature is that Twitsnip finds out the author of the particular website and tweets it along with your quoted tweet. A link is also established back to the website. A URL shortening tool is also available. It also tries to shorten the length of the tweet using a vocabulary (twitabulary!?!?) of short words. Twitsnip works in Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome.

How it works?
  • Find some interesting article you need to quote.
  • Highlight the portion of the text you need to quote.
  • Click the Twitsnip bookmarklet.
  • Review and then post your tweet.
Simple! Ain't it?
Do post comments on your usage of Twitsnip.
