What does Monitter do?
The layout of Monitter almost resembles, the famous Twitter Desktop client - TweetDeck. Similar to TweetDeck, Monitter displays a number of Twitter searches parallel to each other. This enables the user to keep up with the trend simultaneously. Initially, Monitter limited the parallel searches to three columns. But now, the user can add or remove as many number of columns almost similar to TweetDeck. All the keywords are searched in real time and the tweets are being regularly updated. Just visualize a stock ticker. Monitter has also introduced a new search criteria in their website which enables the users to know only about tweets only within a certain distance of their desired location. Monitter also provides a widget which can be integrated within websites thus enabling your users to monitor your tweets.
Opinion :
Initially, Cnet has mentioned Monitter is three times better than Twitter Search because of the presence of three columns! But I would say, Monitter is many times better than Twitter Search now.
