Scoopler is a real time search engine for Twitter. It aggregates and organizes content being shared on the internet as it happens, like eye-witness reports of breaking news, photos and videos from big events, and links to the hottest memes of the day. This is done by constantly indexing live updates from services including Twitter, Flickr, Digg, Delicious and more. When you search for a topic on Scoopler, Scoopler gives the most relevant results, updated in real-time. For an entered topic and the results will update in real time “waterfall” format.
Now updating real time is the in-thing throughout Web 2.0. Just recently, FriendFeed went real time. Facebook is also experimenting with the real time updating thingy. But those services just provide you with the content that's being only updated on their particular sites. Now, the user is given a choice to search through the number of services listed above through Scoopler. But one could easily note that, most of the results that are shown after the search query are very much dominated by Twitter.
The interface of Scoopler is really simple. Moreover, the Peek feature in Scoopler gives a boost to the look of Scoopler. The Peek feature enables the user to take a look at the pages being linked without visiting the actual site. Live updating takes place in the middle. Moreover, popular content relating to the search query are listed at the side where the user can view contents categorized as videos, links and images.
Though there are a lot of search engine which works with Twitter, the real time updating of content gives Scoopler a high-five.
