Seesmic is a Twitter desktop client. It started out as a video-blogging site where its original aim was to to make video uploading from webcams easier to promote online video conversations. Since it struggled to attract new users, a new strategy was adopted wherein Seesmic would aggregate content from Facebook and Twitter. Seesmic, later bought twhirl which is a desktop Twitter client we have discussed earlier. The original idea of video-blogging is still available in its sub-domain.- Multiple Twitter accounts and Facebook updates appear together in one single, easy-to-follow column. Use it just for one Twitter and Facebook account or manage multiple identities. Manage your personal brand and different business accounts on Twitter.
- Seesmic lets you take pictures and record videos straight from your computer webcam or drag and drop them.
- Transform Seesmic into a full control panel of your social software activity and pilot your community in multiple columns. On a single screen, follow your friends’ updates, replies, private messages and as many search terms as you want to monitor your brand.
Three modes of Seesmic are available
